What's your solution?

 

Most people don't get those experiences because they never ask.

I've never found anybody that didn't want to help me if I asked them for help.

 

I'd always ask why you do things?

And the answers you invariably get are.

Oh, that's just the way it's done.

Nobody knows why they do what they do.

Nobody thinks about things very deeply in business.

 

Trust that it would all work out OK.

It was pretty scary at the time.

but looking back it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

 

The greatest people are self-managing.

They don't need to be managed.

Once they know what to do.

They'll go figure out how to do it.

They don't need to be managed at all.

What they need is a common vision.

And that's what leadership is.

What leadership is having a vision.

Being able to articulate that so that people around you can understand it.

 

I consider the most important job of someone like myself is recruiting.

If you're a great person. why do you want to work for somebody that you can't learn anything from

 

Most of the difference between people that succeed and people that don't.

is that people that don't give up.

They give up sooner than people that succeed.

You have to be passionate about it.

Because it's so difficult.

 

Here's to the crazy ones.

The misfits.

The rebels.

The troublemakers.

The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently.

They're not fond of rules.

And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can quote them. disagree with them. glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.

Because they change things.

They push the human race forward.

And while some may see them as the crazy ones.

We see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world.

are the ones who do.
